The title of the album, "Look For The Good," refers to Jason's philosophy of always bringing optimism and positivity to the world and calling for hope in dark and difficult times. Produced by Michael Goldwasser, founder of reggae indie label Easy Star Records and producer of Matisyahu, Steel Pulse, Toots, The Maytals, and his own band, Easy Star All Stars, the album "Look For The Good" was produced at Jason's home studio in Southern California. The title track was co-produced with Jason by Michael, as well as frequent Jason collaborators Raining Jane, Abby Dorsey (MC Flow), and Jeff Berkeley of Berkeley Heart in his hometown of San Diego. The new album, which begins and ends with the same phrase, "Look for the good," is a reflection of Jason's love for reggae, which has been an ongoing part of his music career, and includes numerous film and television appearances by stand-up comedian The album also features contributions from Tiffany Haddish, a stand-up comedian who has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, and Jamaican reggae artist Sister Carol.
