His latest album, "Beatiful Life," released in 2018, also reached #6 in the UK, and he has been actively touring around the world. This two CD "THE BEST OF ME" is a collection of singles that includes the 80's hit singles that propelled him to stardom, as well as the single "Beautiful Life" from his latest album. The Best of Me" is a collection of his 80's hit singles that propelled him to stardom. Fans will be pleased to know that the 2010 single "Lights Out," a "hidden gem," is also included. Opening "Best of Me" is "Every One Of Us," a new song and the album's lead single. The song was written and produced by Lick himself, and he also handles all the instruments.In addition to the singles, the album also features a "pianoforte version" of "Never Gonna Give You Up," which features a piano instead of a pop beat, as well as "Together Forever," "She Wants To Dance With Me," and other singles from the past. CD2 also features "Reimagined" versions of his singles from the past, arranged in the various musical styles he has acquired over time. It was a great experience to record 'Never Gonna Give You Up' anew," says Rick. It's part of my DNA and very important to me. I hope people like the new version of this song as much as I do. Also, 'Every One Of Us' is about the inner fire that everyone has. Everyone has something to give to others, even if it doesn't seem like it at times. I am lucky enough to feel that fire inside me every time I go on stage. And that is a great strength in my day-to-day life."
