In addition to the excellence of the performance, you will enjoy the high quality of the recording by audite's owner and tone-meister Lutger Beckenhof. ＜Francisca Pietsch (violin): Born in East Germany, Francisca Pietsch was introduced to the violin by her father at the age of five, and made her debut at the Komische Oper Berlin at the age of eleven.He studied with Werner Scholz at the Hans Eisler School of Music in Berlin and with Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School in New York. He also studied with Ruggiero Ricci to hone his individuality as a violinist. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras throughout Europe and with conductors such as Antoni Vito, Moshe Atzmon, Julia Jones, Toshiyuki Ueoka, and George Hanson, and was the first concert master of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra from 1998 to 2002, As a founding member of the Trio Testore, he has worked on major piano trio works and released the complete Brahms piano trios (AU 91668). Later, with Detlef Eisinger, he released the complete Grieg Violin Sonatas (AU 97707), Prokofiev Violin Sonatas Nos. 1 & 2 and 5 Melodies (AU 97722), and Frank Violin Sonatas (AU 97726). He also made a splash with his first concerto recording of Prokofiev's Violin Concertos Nos. 1 & 2 (AU 97733). King International
