Description:

Consortium Classicum, a group of master musicians who have concentrated the essence of Salieri's operas while retaining the charm of the originals, presents a new album by Consortium Classicum, an elite wind ensemble led by ORFEO's signature artist, clarinet virtuoso Klecker. The new album by "Consortium Classicum," an elite wind ensemble led by clarinet virtuoso Klecker, ORFEO's signature artist, features Harmonie Musique of Salieri's operas arranged by Salieri. Harmoniemusik (German: Harmoniemusik) is a term that broadly refers to music for wind instruments, but in a more limited sense it was used to refer to the wind ensembles (harmonies) of the European nobility and the music for them during a certain period from the mid-18th century through the 1830s. The term was used to refer to the wind ensembles (harmonie) of European aristocrats and the music they played.Harmonies range from two pairs of wind instruments, usually horns or clarinets, to the 13 instruments (12 winds and double basses) required in Mozart's "Grand Partita". The year 1782 marked a revolutionary change in the tradition of "employing a wind ensemble," which dates back to the beginning of the 18th century. It was in this year that a complete orchestra, the Harmonie, was formed under the direction of the emperor and several members of the Viennese aristocracy. These were completely different in that they consisted of eight musicians, including oboes and clarinets, and were made up of professional musicians of the first rank. The creation of new repertoire: Thus, while some of Mozart's most outstanding works were written for the Harmonie, such as the Serenades of K 375 and K 388/384a, many operas and complete ballets were arranged for the Harmonie, as Mozart did with his arrangement of the opera "Abduction from the Hermonie". As Mozart himself arranged the entire opera "Abduction from the Hermonie", many new arrangements of operas and ballets were created for the Harmonie as a whole new repertoire. The Harmonie Arranger, Johann Nepomuk Wendt (1745-1801), was a pioneer in the field of arranging music for the Harmonie. While working at the newly established Imperial Court Harmonie as a master oboe player, he made numerous arrangements for the Imperial Harmonie, including Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro," "Don Giovanni," "The Mercy of Emperor Tito," and "The Magic Flute.
