Notable French harpist Marcel Cara This is a disc by a French harp virtuoso. This program is based on the idea of combining Debussy's works with those of his contemporaries in a single recording. Inspired by recordings by musicians such as Pollini, Kocsis, and Bavouzet, as well as Cara's own arrangement of "Slower than Lent," the waltz has both rigor and freedom, and is performed with an orchestral sound. Marcel Cara began playing the harp at the age of six and studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where he has studied with Dominique Demojo, Germaine Lorenzini, and Isabelle Moretti. She has won prizes at the Munich International Competition and other competitions. PARATY
