The deconstructed grindcore "AKBK's Ten Commandments - JIKKAI -" will be released on Friday, April 25. What is AKBK? AKBK is a band started by King Goblin, green milk from the planet orange, kurucrew, and Atsense, who met at a live house in Tokyo and just said "I want to play grindcore. The band's initial noise-grind style of music was transformed into progressive metal, jazz, and contemporary music after Kelly Churko joined the band, culminating in their first album in 2010. After Kelly Churko passed away in 2014, AKBK welcomed Kouki Miyabe of ENDON in 2016 and released a cassette in 2018 with songs that had a hardcore flavor added to the progressive tone of the band's earlier work. AKBK continues to deconstruct grindcore and advocate its reconstruction.
