Berlin Sound Metaphors affiliate Thank You is reissuing what is, for some, the most sensational reissue deal in the label's history! A reissue of a post new age 90's pop vision: !!!! The story begins when Hartmut Gawehn, a member of SLOOPEY G., brought a demo tape of "Domine" to Virgin Record in Munich, and Virgin's A&R department showed great interest in it. At the time, Enigma's Mihai Cre?u ran a music publishing company on the first floor of the building where Virgin was located. Shortly thereafter, Enigma's "Sadeness (Part I)" was released, but the content was so similar that it led to a legal battle, and SLOOPEY G. was forced to go through a years-long trial over the intellectual property, with no satisfactory outcome. This album contains the original tracks and unreleased songs produced at the time. It contains downtempo, Balearic flavors, 80's synthpop, and near-italo disco that resembles religious prayer.
