The new release from Fukuoka-based Asian exotic band MuchaMuchaM (MuchaMuchaM), whose first album Qantikala was a breakthrough, is a collaboration EP with Malaysian-based singer-songwriter Zee Avi! Fukuoka-based Asian exotic band MuchaMuchaM, whose first album Qantikala has been a hit at home and abroad, has collaborated with Borneo-based singer-songwriter Zee Avi on a new collaborative EP. The two bands, who became friends after performing on The Creators' Co-Write stage in front of Fukuoka City Hall in 2023, have taken on the challenge of creating an exotic Asian sound that transcends national borders. The EP includes the modern acoustic classic A-1 "Day By Day," a cover of the folk crusaders' A-2 "Sad and Unfulfilled," which is on everyone's lips, and the Asian dance SIDE-B "Oyasumi na Sayang," sung in Malay.The jacket was newly drawn by Fukuoka-based illustrator TOYAMEG with an image of Borneo.
