The prestigious jazz label Verve has recognized akiko, a Japanese female jazz singer, for her single cut of a cool organ jazz Christmas song from her hit 2007 Christmas album "a white album," produced by Yasuhiro Konishi. Since her debut in 2001 as the first Japanese female singer on the prestigious jazz label Verve, akiko has always been a hot topic with her wide range of expression that is not bound by existing genres. akiko has been a big hit with her 2005 fall album "Little Miss Jazz and the Little Miss Jazz", which was a big hit in Japan. Two years after her big hit "Little Miss Jazz and Jive" in the fall of 2005, akiko and Yasuhiro Konishi have teamed up again to cut a single from their 2007 Christmas album "a white album," a classic Christmas song with a cool organ jazz arrangement. akiko's cool voice and Yasuhiro Konishi's pop sounding voice are combined in this single. akiko's cool voice and Konishi's pop sound are a perfect match. The coupling track is a remix of the song with rap, making it even more of a pop party tune.
