The Stone Roses are Ian Brown, John Squire, Leni and Mani from Manchester, England. The Stone Roses were at the center of the Manchester movement and greatly influenced the later UK scene, including Oasis, Blur, and Kasabian. This album, "Turns Into Stone," is a collection of rare takes of songs released in 1992 that were not included on their first album, including singles, B-sides, and couplings for 12-inch singles. Starting with "Elephant Stone," the band's first release while on Silvertone Records, and including the band's signature single "Fools Gold," this collection is not just a collection of songs, but a collection of rare takes. This is not a mere collection of songs, but a complete work of art, a must-have for Roses fans.
