Triosence

Description:

Stories Of Life" is the 10th album by Triosence, a leading piano trio on the European jazz scene. (Triosence is a piano trio unit started in 1999 by pianist Bernhard Schuller.) Their music, which has been called "the third generation of Europianism," has won them many fans not only in Europe but also around the world. Their new album "Stories Of Life", their tenth, was produced by Bernhard Schuller (piano), Omar Rodriguez Calvo (bass), and Tobias Schulte (drums), and is based on the theme of a "musical diary" inspired by the stories life tells. The theme of the album is a "musical diary" inspired by the stories that life tells. The tragedy and beauty of everyday life are captured in the songs, which are presented as melodic and charming instrumental pieces that captivate the listener's heart. The song "Dear Rainer" is dedicated to Bernhard Schuller's uncle, the painter Rainer Hoffmann, and the entire album is a special memorial to him.His painting "Badere vid Ingetoprsjon (Bathers on Lake Ingetopshon)" was used for the cover art, and the booklet contains 10 paintings linked to the song and theme. Unfortunately, my uncle's art never got the recognition and attention it should have received. But his life was very exciting, and at a young age he moved to the Swedish wilderness and traveled around the world painting. He didn't care about anything else but art, and he was simply passionate about painting. I was strongly attracted to this attitude even as a child. Whenever he would tell me stories about his past, I would listen with a twinkle in my eye," says Bernhard Schuller. Their melodic and spacey sound, a fusion of worldbeat, folk, rock, and pop, has successfully evolved their signature sound, with a classic jazz formation (piano, bass, and drums), but with a progressive composition that constantly changes style, tempo, and mood. The result is a work that goes far beyond the boundaries of conventional jazz.
