Popular Nordic Progressive Band = The Flower Kings' New Album "Look At You Now "The Flower Kings, led by an important figure in the Nordic progressive rock scene = Leune Stolt, will release their new album "Look At You Now" just one year and six months interval from their last album. The band consists of original members Reune and Hasse Freberg, founding member and Reune's brother Michael Stolt, who returned after more than 20 years on the last album, and Zach Cummins, who joined the band after the restart and participated in the 2018 "Flower Kings Revisited" tour, as well as Zack, who lives in the U.S., was left out of the group, and the recording was done with a four-piece band without a dedicated keyboardist. The guest synthesizer player is Laleh Larsson, who has worked with Agents of Mercy, Carmacanic, and others related to Reune Stolt. This album was recorded with the vintage instruments and equipment that Reune Stolt pursued, and is filled with a warm and charming sound reminiscent of the great progressive rock albums of the 1970s.The metallic, hard-edged, digitally tinted sound has been overshadowed, and the album takes us back to a bygone golden age of rock with an analog feel. The three most recent albums have all been released on 2 CDs, each exceeding 90 minutes in length, but for the first time in a long time, the 67-minute CD volume is a powerful work filled with condensed music.
