New album "Le tigre" by Camille Bertault, a new generation female jazz singer/songwriter from France, was born in Paris in 1986. In the spring of 2015, she posted a vocal arrangement of Coltrane's "Giant Steps" on a video site, and her supple, precise, high-speed scatting, vocal sense, and sexy, lovely appearance made her a hit. Her debut album "En Vie" was released in 2016, and her first major album "Pas de geant", released in 2018, is a French translation of Coltrane's "Giant Steps", which led her to her debut. Her free and creative musical style, which goes beyond the boundaries of jazz, such as singing Bach's "Goldberg" in fast scat and adding Portuguese lyrics to Wayne Shorter's "House of Jade," has received a great response.Le tigre" (The Tiger), the first new album in two years, was inspired by Chopin's preludes, and all songs were written by Camille herself. The album was produced with trumpet player Michael Leonhardt, known for his work with Steely Dan and Mark Ronson, as his partner, and features a wide range of tracks, from the pleasant groove of "Ma Muse" and the slow-building ballad "There's a Bird" to the vibrant electro "Todolist" and "The Tiger.
