Formed in 1976, the legendary band defined the NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL genre with their debut album "LIGHTNING TO THE NATIONS" in 1980, and have greatly influenced subsequent generations as pioneers of the genre, Diamond Head. Although at the time, they were a band only known to those in the know, they were later made known to heavy metal fans around the world by Metallica, who were greatly influenced by them, and they have been active for a long time since then. The new album, "THE COFFIN TRAIN", is their eighth album in total. The Coffin Train" is the latest release from their new home, Silver Lining Music, which they have signed a contract with. Guitar riffs by John Tatler, one of the founding members and known as a riff master, dominate the entire album, and the high tone vocals of frontman Rasmus Bom Andersen, who joined the band in 2014 and is now the face of the band, accelerate the metal sound. The band's newest album, which follows the proud British NWOBHM sound but also shows a modern approach, is filled with a pure metal sound that is as heavy and fast as a runaway train. Production and mixing will be handled by vocalist and songwriter Rasmus Bom Andersen. Recorded at Raw Sound Studios in London, the album's opening track, "Belly of the Beast," is now available. As the title suggests, "Belly of the Beast" opens with the sound of the wheels of a "Coffin Train," followed by John's royal guitar riffs and a fast-paced metal sound. This song alone is sure to delight old and new fans alike with the band's blood-boiling royal metal sound. Diamond Head has once again gained a great deal of attention during the heyday of thrash metal, with Metallica and Megadeth professing to have been a major influence on them. The "legends of NWOBHM" continue to reverberate their massive metal sound around the world, drawing in new fans through the bands they have influenced.However, the band does not simply rehash the good old metal sound, but rather maintains the essence of the NWOBHM sound that they pioneered and adds a modern approach to it, a method that excites audiences old and new, and is what makes them a true "legend". Their adrenaline-filled heavy metal, which makes you air-guitar and headbang, Diamond Head will continue to lead the metal scene with their overwhelming power!
