The Gautier Capuçon Foundation was established by cellist Gautier Capuçon to help budding musicians establish professional careers. Pianist Kim Bernhardt was selected as the first recipient of the foundation's recordings. Cellist Gautier Capucon will release the recording as his debut album on Warner Records. (Fondation Gautier Capucon), a new foundation led by conductor Frank Blarey and piano player Franck Blarey, to help budding musicians establish professional careers. Through the foundation, the new musicians will also be given the opportunity to perform with renowned musicians and to make recordings with Warner Classics. Pianist Kim Bernhardt was selected as the first recording artist. Born in Hyères, France in 1999, Kim Bernhardt began piano studies at the age of five, studying with Bernard Dascoli and Selimene Daudet at the Piano Cantabile, a non-profit higher education institution for young pianists, from the beginning of 2008. There she was unanimously awarded a special prize in 2011 at the age of only 12.She won the first prize in the under-17 category at the 2012 International Competition of Monlon-les-Bains; two months later, she won the "Young Pianist" prize at the Ile-de-France International Competition, and in August, she won the Aix. He won many prizes, including the first prize at the "Nuits Pianistiques Competition" in Saint-Provence and the third prize at the 2018 "Sifra Piano Competition". He says, "The composers that inspire me the most are Bach, Oscar Peterson, Errol Garner, I'm a fan of Charles Mingus, I like jazz, but Ravel's works remind me of many worlds," and it's as if these things translate into his playing, with a soft touch that makes the piano He let the piano sing to its fullest with a soft touch.
