This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of his first hit song "Space Oddity" and his second album "DAVID BOWIE aka SPACE ODDITY", which included the song. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of "DAVID BOWIE aka SPACE ODDITY," and the amazing 5-CD box set, "Conversation Piece," focuses on the period from 1968 to 1969! This "Conversation Piece" includes 12 previously unreleased tracks, home demos recorded at his home, BBC radio sessions, studio recordings with John Hutch Hutch Hutchinson, and the trio THE FEATHERS, consisting of Bowie, Hutch, and Hermione. In addition to rare and rare sound sources such as the FEATHERS soundtracks, the collection also includes the latest 2019 mix of "Spaced Oddity" by Bowie's longtime producer and collaborator, Tony Visconti. Space Oddity" also includes the song "Conversation Piece," which is also the title of this box set. This song was originally planned to be included on the album, but was ultimately left off the recording due to the total recording time of the analog version.This 2019 mixed version of the album, which will be released this year, includes this "Conversation Piece" as the eighth track, based on the planned song order at the time of recording, for a total of 10 songs.
