Shostakovich's last symphony! Finland's brilliant Sturgoards! Shostakovich with the BBC Philharmonic! He was Principal Conductor of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra from 2008 to 2015, Artistic Director of the Lapland Chamber Orchestra, and currently Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Philharmonic and the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada. The two 150th anniversary editions of Sibelius: The Complete Symphonies (CHAN 10809) and Nielsen: The Complete Symphonies (CHAN 10859), released in 2014 and 2015, respectively, have become global successes. The orchestra has since been in the limelight with the worldwide success of the "150th Anniversary Edition" of the George Antheil orchestral works (CHAN 10941, CHAN 10982, CHAN 20080), and most recently in January 2023 with the "Nielsen: The Complete Symphonies (CHAN 10809)" and "Nielsen: The Complete Symphonies (CHAN 10859).
