Recently, a movie about his life, "ROCKETMAN," was released. Billy Joel, the great American singer-songwriter known in the pop music scene as "Piano Man," has been on a steady success road since his re-release on Columbia Records in 1973 with the album "PIANO MAN," and has sold nearly 200 million records worldwide. He has established himself as a top musician with record sales of nearly 200 million copies worldwide.
The "Face to Face Tour" that these two musicians have put together began in 1994, and by 2010, 211 concerts had been held. The Tokyo Dome concert on March 31 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a special program by a satellite TV station, and was later broadcast on PBS (U.S.). This live album is a live recording of the concert, consisting of duet and solo performances by the two artists. The performances by the two leading British and American singer/songwriters were so perfect that the audience went wild for the special live performance. This is a long-awaited album release for fans, as no live album of this miraculous collaboration has ever been released before!
