Bass singer Alexei Tikhomirov, who has an overwhelming presence in this performance, was born in Russia. He is a very active presence in Russia, as well as in Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and South America. He has performed with conductors such as Fedoseyev and Pletnyov.
