The recording project of Bach's complete piano works, which is already in its tenth volume, is a program of enchanting small pieces such as preludes (small preludes), fugitives (fugues), duets, and minuets. This recording, made under the auspices of the Bärenreiter Company, also uses the same Critical Edition scores as the previous recording, and its interpretation and research results are also a point of interest. Another feature of this series is the use of Japanese landscapes for the cover photo, and this time the Otorii (Grand Gate) of Itsukushima Shrine, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, is used.
