Norwegian postmodern composer Christophe Shen composed the oratorio "The Passage of Time" based on Darwin's "The Origin of Species". On February 14, a concert was held at Frogner Kyrka, Oslo's Frogner Church, featuring the oratorio "The Passage of Time" from Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species". The oratorio is a Norwegian oratorio. The oratorio was written in 2013 by one of Norway's postmodern composers, Bjorn Morten Christophersen (1976-). Christophersen himself imagined "a tribute to the evolution of life on earth...... bridging the gap between natural science and religion with music...... where wonder and excitement meet for all to see." from "The Origin of Species."
