(Their previous album was recorded live in just one day at The Libertines’ studio.) This highly conceptual and ambitious work captures the current atmosphere—where personal and social changes intersect—through a surreal worldview reminiscent of cabaret and the circus. Featuring rock tunes that evoke US’s signature early energy, fast-paced and refreshing tracks, heavy songs, and mellow ballads, the album spans a wide range of genres—including alternative rock, post-rock, and art pop—and is sure to get the crowd going at live shows.
