The album is a mix of elegant strings and trippy electronics, mirage-like chamber bossa, ambient folk, fuzzy tropicália, and majestic MPB sounds....This album is highly recommended for fans of Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil's Tropicália period works, Artur Vercai and other Brazilian psychedelic works, as well as Shintaro Sakamoto, Avalanches, and of course, Bruno Belli, Cessa, Leonardo Marques and Moons, who were also released on Far Out. This album is highly recommended for fans of contemporary Brazilian psychedelic rock and alternative rock such as Leonardo Marques and Moons. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Lau Lo's family immigrated to Europe as teenagers, but life was tough, first in northern Italy and then in Brighton on the south coast of England, where he found work as a factory and cleaner. Says Lau, "We were never able to return home, so my connection to Brazil consists mainly of childhood memories and a passion for Brazilian music from the 60s and 70s." (1/2)
