Description:

Pappano's powerful performance fully illustrates the rich musicality of the live Mahler's view of life: "It is not a love of death, but a love of life." Pappano is an opera conductor and an excellent Wagnerian. Pappano noted that Mahler's day job was as an opera conductor and an excellent Wagnerian conductor, and that the direct influence of "Tristan" and "Parsifal" can be seen in Mahler's works, as well as the repetition of tragedy and recovery in his life, reflected in the last movement of the 6th Symphony, for example. He says that Mahler's work is a mixture of catastrophe and rebirth. Pappano also believes that the influence of Nietzsche's transhumanist philosophy is present in this performance, which includes his own unique interpretation. For this release, Kosei Fujita, one of Japan's most renowned mastering engineers, remastered the original masters. Mr. Kosei Fujita has been remastering the "Definition Series," a product sold exclusively by Tower Records, and is a mastering engineer with an established reputation.Since this digital recording (16bit/44.1kHz) did not have enough recording density and information, it is thought that the current high-resolution audio set is not able to demonstrate it. Therefore, the overtone range (high-resolution) that could not be recorded was restored by special processor processing using the latest technology, and by maximizing the wide frequency bandwidth and dynamic range, a sense of realism in localization and dynamics is created. The original richness, smoothness, and reverberation of the music in the hall are maintained, and the conductor's intended instrumental placement, exquisite balance of volume, etc., are revealed here for the first time. mastered to reflect that sound to the fullest. In order to deliver the highest quality sound, the following high-grade professional equipment is used: - Professional DA-AD converters designed for the high-resolution format. Professional analog equipment for processing audio signals. High quality audio cables to minimize signal degradation.Low-jitter master clock generator to maintain accurate timing and synchronization. Clean power supply system to minimize interference and ensure stable operation of all equipment. Monitor speaker system for accurate monitoring of the remastering process. Jewel case, green label specification *Newly written commentary by Nobuiku Mitsuoka is included in the booklet.
