Description:

Tokyo-based composer Yuka Shibuya released "Works for Piano," a collection of piano compositions performed by Goko Inoue, on the label in 2021. Now, the same Ftarri Classical label has released a new CD featuring performances of six of Yuka Shibuya's compositions. This CD is a collection of live performances at Tokyo Ftarri's space, including two pieces from the September 20, 2021 concert, "View from the Round Window 2" (2018) and "Cosmetic Dance" (2007), performed by Goko Inoue (upright piano). And from the December 13, 2021 concert, "Traces of Thirds 1-b" (2014/2021) by Yui Hosoi (cello) and Shimon Ohno (upright piano), "Cosmetic Dance 2" (2012) by Kei Sakoda (viola), "Cosmetic Dance" (2012) by Kei Sakoda (viola) and Shimon Ohno ( (2021), "Oka" (2012) by Kei Sakoda (viola) and Shimon Ohno (upright piano), and "Found Moment" (2021) by Shimon Ohno (upright piano).
