This album was produced with her firm intention to spread the legacy of Akira Miyoshi, who served as the president of Toho Gakuen School, where Kuniko Kato studied for many years, throughout the world. Included are all works for marimba solo and a concerto with Scottish Ensemble. This is the first time that LINN RECORDS has released a collection of works by a Japanese composer. This is the first time that LINN RECORDS has released a collection of works by Japanese composers, and only the Japanese domestic release will be available in SACD hybrid format (overseas, only the standard CD will be available), allowing listeners to enjoy the renowned high-quality recordings to the fullest extent. In addition, a commentary on the project by Kuniko Kato and a commentary on the work quoting Akira Miyoshi's own words will be included in Japanese. This is an important album that represents a new development in Kuniko Kato's performance activities.
