In commemoration of the US Rock scene's heavyweight Pixies' Japan tour, four classic early albums are being re-released all at once! Four early albums by the Pixies, a leading band in the US Rock scene, will be re-released to commemorate the band's visit to Japan! With their first album, "Surfer Rosa," produced by Steve Albini, the Pixies established a unique style that encompassed stillness and movement, humor and madness. Their second album, "Doolittle," combined pop melodies and artistry, propelling them from cult status to the core of the scene, and their third album, "Bossanova," took them in a new direction, incorporating surf rock and cosmic themes. The fourth album, "Trompe Le Monde," released in 1991, embodied the Pixies' innovation and radicalism in a challenging and highly accomplished body of work just before the band's breakup. These four albums, each with a different appeal, are truly a monumental catalog that has had a decisive influence on alternative rock since the 1990s! The Pixies' masterpiece and a milestone in alternative rock! An immortal masterpiece that has influenced music fans and numerous artists around the world! This is the second album released in 1989 by the Pixies, the most important band that led the early US alternative/grunge movement, and is a historical masterpiece that is called the Pixies' greatest masterpiece. The opening track "Debaser," the fast-paced "Wave of Mutilation," the anthemic "Here Comes Your Man," and the mythical "Monkey Gone to Heaven" all became synonymous with the band. both of which have become synonymous with the band. The band's originality, which traverses the length and breadth of pop catchy melodies and noisy, explosive roars, destroyed the structure of conventional rock music and presented a new dynamism. In addition, the lyrical world of the band, with its cult-like humor and religious and mythological imagery, has created a one-of-a-kind realm unrivaled by any other. There is no doubt that their innovations decisively shaped the alternative music scene of the 1990s, including the music of Nirvana. More than 35 years after its release, the album continues to fascinate listeners around the world with its vividness, not a bit fading away. This is nothing short of a milestone in alternative rock.
