This is the second album released in 1968 by the predecessor band of the Allman Brothers Band. Power of Love" is the second studio album and the group's last album released on Liberty Records in March 1968 by Our Glass, a rock band led by Duane Allman and Gregg Allman on the eve of the Allman Brothers Band's formation. It was the group's last album. Seven of the twelve songs on the album are Greg's originals.The rest of the album consists of works by Southern songwriters such as Dan Penn & Spooner Oldham, Eddie Hinton & Merlin Green, and a cover of the Beatles' "Norwegian Woods," confirming the origins of songwriter Gregg Allman and guitarist Duane Allman.
