The German label Glitterbeat has been releasing music at a breakneck pace in the current world music scene. The label has always presented world music that is one step ahead of the times, and one of its most progressive sounding artists is AVALANCHE KAITO. They have released their first new album in two years, since 2022. Their characteristic feature is the fusion of the folkloric West African sound unique to griot music and the rock sound of hardcore and noise punk with a sharp edge like a jackknife. They call this style of music "Griot Punk Noise," and while the wild sound of their previous album, which was mainly recorded live, was still astonishing, this time they aimed to create a more detailed sound by using a lot of overdubs, resulting in an album with an even higher degree of perfection.
