A fan of Japanese anime since his youth, especially the works of Studio Ghibli, the Italian-born Mirabassi released "Animesi: Castle in the Sky and Others" in 2015, a collection of covers mainly of Ghibli's works. At a concert in Japan that same year, director Hayao Miyazaki, who had long been a fan of his work, attended, and they have continued to communicate ever since. The passionate performance by the piano trio, a skilled ensemble, gives new life to Ghibli's masterpieces. The jacket design features illustrations provided by Hayao Miyazaki, a must-have for Ghibli fans. The album comes in a special digipak and sleeve case, and includes a fold-out poster.
