Eiko Furusawa, a violinist who served as the first concert mistress of the prestigious Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, founded by Wagner and guest conducted by Brahms in 1895, for 23 years. She has long wanted to record the complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas. She will be accompanied by George Martin, the resident pianist of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, who has performed with great conductors such as Rudolf Kempe, Wolfgang Sawallisch, and Serge Celibidarke.
