Formed in 1990 by Gotte Ringqvist (g/vln/vo), Rickard Westman (g/b), Stefan Brisland-Ferner (vln/hurdy-gurdy/sampler) and others. The band won a Grammy Award in Sweden at the time for their masterpiece "GUDS SPELEMAN", their third album "GUDS" released in 1996. The long-awaited reissue of "GUDS SPELEMAN" in '23, newly remastered. The album shows a dramatic development from the relatively acoustic trad music of the previous two albums, featuring the pagan vocals of Emma Hardelin (vo), deadly percussions, effects-enhanced fiddling, and the writhing drone of Hardy Gurdy, among others. The album features the tribal euphoria of trad roots with rock dynamism, and boasts a quality that can be called the perfection of the "Radical Trad" sound.The sound of this album is unique and represents not only the band but also Scandinavian folk/traditional music, as the indigenous quality of the folk instruments and the sharp electronics intermingle at their highest point. The master is based on the original analog master, remastered in '23 by Bjorn Engelmann.Kyotaro's first full album in 3 years! Covering the Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," this is the first full-length album in three years by Kyotaro, a singer-songwriter, and a masterpiece of numbers with the prayer, "The world is one. The album is a work that expresses the thought, "The world is one," and the song "Calm Down People" (07) embodies the concept of the album. In addition to the seven original songs, the album features two cover songs, one being "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Beatles. The other song is "Burn Your Heart Out," a song by debut band 1st BLOOD. The song was originally released as a single to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Kyotaro's debut. 05 Happy With You is an acoustic version of a song from the band's first album, performed live on a radio show. It was originally released as a single to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Kyotaro's debut.
