Description:

Formed in Auckland in 2005. After releasing several EPs, they made their album debut in 2008 with "FROM THE OCEANIC GRAVES". The band's sound, which was influenced by early IN FLAMES and AT THE GATES, was well-received and became a hot topic among metal listeners with an early ear here in Japan. After several member changes, they released their second album "EMBERS IN THE SPIRITLESS VOID". In 2014, the vocalist was replaced by Ben Reid, formerly of ULCERATE and also active as THE MARK OF MAN, and the band began work on the new album "Heaven's Core". In July 2015, the band released a new album, "Heaven's Hole," which features a new album of melodic death metal songs, as well as songs influenced by post-black bands such as Japan's envy and MONO, and DEAFHEAVEN, which has emerged in the past few years. Serenity in Murder for their first visit to Japan to perform at REDRUM FEST.The band has performed in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka with Merging Moon, Degrace, HONE YOUR SENSE, Shatter Silence, and others. The Japanese distribution version of the album includes a DL card that allows you to download re-recorded versions of songs from the previous vocalist's tenure with the current band members, as well as cover songs by Japanese bands.
