But if you listen carefully, you can also sense the beauty of the space between the lines, which is uniquely Japanese. Rio, Yokohama (Machiko), and Kobe (Sasago). Three port cities connected by a sea of samba. (Hitoshi Nakahara) The jewels of Mangueira. Jewels do not shine by themselves. They shine brightly only when a ray of light shines through them. The more I listen to their songs and guitars, the more I can't help but feel their unique brilliance polished in Japan, far away from Brazil. It contains beautiful samba by great composers and is a tribute to one of the symbols of our culture, "Estação Primeira de Mangueira". Machiko Tokai and Shigeharu Sasago, two artists whom I truly admire, and Mangueira. When such talents come together, it is only natural that a great work of art is born.
