The collection includes exercises in a wide variety of styles, from Bartók's modern harmonic and rhythmic exercises to innovative works by Ligeti and his student Schweinitz, the unique sound worlds of Dusapin and Chin Unsuk, and Constantinidis' works that incorporate Greek folk rhythms.
