Jasmine Myra is a saxophonist/flutist/composer based in the northern English city of Leeds. Influenced by artists as diverse as Kenny Wheeler, Bonobo, Olafur Arnalds, and Moses Sumney, she creates an intoxicating and uplifting sound that caught the attention of Gondwana Records head Matthew Halsall, who produced her album "Horizons" in 2022. Her album Horizons, produced by Matthew Halsall of Gondwana Records in 2022, was a huge success, partly due to the acclaim of Giles Peterson, the owner of the Acid Jazz label. Rising" builds on this success with a richer, deeper, more mature and uplifting spiritual sound with added confidence and poise, featuring the same members as the previous album, and again produced by Matthew Halsall!
