Formed in 1971 by Brian Burr-Philipp (vo), Jorgen Werner (g), and Rene Wulff (drs), the Danish hard progressive band released two albums by the end of '75 before disbanding. The band's debut album from 1974 was digitally remastered and reissued on CD for the first time by Paisley Press in 2010. The album also features a percussive rhythm, a folky touch, and a guest violin. As mentioned above, the band's aggressive, bluesy, psychedelic sound shared similarities with German hard rock and krautrock, and they were also active in West Germany, touring in parallel with their home country. This debut album was also recorded in Maschin, a village located south of Hamburg, Germany (the recording itself was made in 1972), and there were Danish (titled "Sensory") and West German versions of this debut album, which were sold in each market.This reissue is based on the West German release on the German label Nova under the name of SYSTEM, with a new jacket design and title. The album boasts a minor but solid degree of perfection, with a hard rock foundation, acoustic/psychedelic sensibility, and the smartness of Scandinavian music.
