Incidentally, Filkshney was particularly skilled at performing “Pictures at an Exhibition,” and there were recordings of it on DG and AudioLab. That red-label DG vinyl record remains highly sought after, still fetching over 10,000 yen today. Furthermore, Solti and Filkshney were both born in 1912.
