In the ballades, Bianconi maintains a sense of scale in each piece and plays like a cool narrator without overdoing the emotion. The elegance of the preludes and the boat song, and the lightness of the scherzo were also excellent. Bianconi was born in Nice in 1960. He studied with Gaby Cassadoche and Simone Delbert-Félivet (pupil of Marguerite Long and Robert Cassadoche). She won a silver medal at the 7th Van Cliburn International Competition, and in the 1980s, while still in her twenties, she performed numerous times with Hermann Pley at the height of his powers.He is also a veteran of the Rampal, Starkel, Gary Hoffman, Garneri String Quartet, and Thalich String Quartet, with whom he has given masterful performances.
