Description:
Reissue of the great first album from 1982, the first album by RICOCHETS, a psychobilly/neo-rockabilly band known as one of the earliest British psychobilly bands and later members of METEORS and GUANA BATZ, who made their mark on the scene. Limited quantity picture disc version. The band was formed as the backing band for fellow neo-rockabilly singer MARNEY WEBB. The original version was released on the prestigious NERVOUS RECORDS label in 1982, and was later covered by FRENZY, TORMENT, and many other psychobilly bands. This is a masterpiece with a perfect blend of early psychobilly's distinctive neo-rockabilly, and you will never get tired of listening to it no matter how many times you repeat it. Although it does not have a heavy psychobilly sound, the slap bass of SAM SARDI (later GUANA BATZ) is unforgettable, and the drums of STEVE MEADHAM aka GINGER (later METEORS/HIGHLINERS/etc.) are also excellent! This is a reissue of the picture vinyl released in limited quantities on CRAZY LOVE RECORDS at the time of the reunion!
