Released just nine months after his previous album, *Chromacopia*—the fastest release of his career—*Don’t Tap The Glass* (Don’t Tap the Glass)—the fastest release of his career—was nominated for “Best Alternative Music Album” at the 68th Grammy Awards. While in the midst of his “Chromacopia World Tour,” Tyler, the Creator suddenly announced that he would release this album on Friday, July 18, 2025—the final day of his New York shows. As the venue erupted in commotion at the unexpected announcement, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn—the venue for the show—a statue of Tyler’s new character, serving as the key visual, was unveiled. As fans around the world went wild on social media, the album was suddenly released. Featuring guest appearances by Pharrell Williams (also appearing under his alias Sk8brd), Madison McFarland, and Yeeba, Tyler produced every track on his own, following his previous album *Chromacopia* (2024). As Tyler himself commented on social media about the new album—“MADEFORBODYMOVEMENT”—it is the most danceable work of his career. This clear vinyl edition, released to commemorate the album’s first anniversary, features a gatefold sleeve, includes two large posters, and is housed in a clear O-card. It’s a special edition that allows listeners to enjoy artwork with different background colors by swapping out the posters.
