This 4-CD set includes two nights of live recordings by Jackie Levin, known to folk lovers for his 1971 classic album "Control" under the name John St. Field. born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, he began his musical career in the late 1960s under the pen name John St. Field. In 1978, he formed the band Doll by Doll. After the band broke up, he devoted himself to a solo career, but due to poor health and various other events, it was 11 years later that his solo career, including the release of an album, took off. He has many faces, but the one recorded here is his own gentle and pleasant folk concert with acoustic guitar, which he performed live at Club Moments in Bremen on May 27, 1999, as well as at Radio Bremen on March 29, 2004. The concert at the Hall was performed by his longtime friend Michael Cosgrave on keyboards and in the chorus. His excellent guitar playing and gentle, gentle voice and melodies in his songs and performances will capture the hearts of folk lovers who like Bert Jansch and others.The sound quality is excellent, and the audience can experience the atmosphere of the event, including the cheers.
