In 2006, the year of Mozart's 250th anniversary, James Ehnes recorded the complete works of violin concertos, which won the "Juno Award" in 2007, the "Canadian version of the Grammy", and in 2016, the 260th anniversary of Mozart's birth, the complete works are reissued! The Mozart Concertos were recorded by James Ehnes on the same day as Mozart's birthday (January 27), a coincidence. With a special "all-star" orchestra of members chosen by Ehnes himself, he narrates Mozart's melodies with elegance, grace, and eloquence. The album also includes the violin concertos K.261 and K.269, which are considered to be alternate drafts of the violin concerto. The cadenzas are all by James Ehnes, who studied the composer's own cadenzas for Mozart's piano concertos (especially No. 8, K. 246 and No. 9, K. 271). Tokyo M-Plus
