Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams of TOTO will release solo albums simultaneously in February 2021! Last October, TOTO announced that they would cease their activities after their 40th anniversary tour, but this fall, they announced that they would resume their activities with a new lineup. The band recently made its "world debut" with a live performance on November 21, which thrilled TOTO fans around the world. The core of the "new TOTO" is Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams. Joseph Williams' solo album is titled "Denizen Tenant. Except for "Black Dahlia" and "No Lessons," which were produced by Jay Gruska, all of the songs were produced by Williams himself, the TOTO vocalist, solo artist, and composer on his latest album! The musicians and singers are all people who have performed with Williams over the course of his nearly 40-year career.These include bandmates David Paich, Steve Lukather, and Simon Phillips of TOTO, as well as Leland Sklar, Lenny Castro, and Nathan East, who were also support members of TOTO. Jay Gruska and Michael Landau, who also produced the album, and Williams' brother, Mark T. Williams, are also listed in the credits, making this a truly extravagant work of musicianship. (1/2)
