Description:
British composer and pianist Rob (Robert) Keely is known for writing "complex works" similar to those of Birtwistle and Finnissy. Always in search of new sounds, he creates original and unexpected works using a variety of instruments. In this album, he plays harpsichord himself, and as the title suggests, he brilliantly performs the "anachronistic" Four Dances and Inventions. Recorded in 2016, 2015, and 2011. (C)RS
