The fifth collection in GRAND PIANO's "Philip Glass" series features four pieces with different atmospheres. Originally composed for organ, "Mad Rush" was first performed by Glass himself on the occasion of the Dalai Lama's speech in 1981, and is an enchanting piece of music in which the peculiar short phrases are repeated endlessly, gradually changing form. Like the waves of the ocean crashing on the shore in perpetual repetition, you will be almost sucked in by the perpetual motion of the sound, which is sometimes wildly fascinating, but seems to last forever. Other works include the paranoid Toccata "600 Lines," which is also a repetitive movement, "TWO," a form of "Metamorphosis," which has many variations, and the first "Gershwin Prize" given by the Library of Congress to Paul Simon on May 23, 2007, when the Library of Congress presented the first "Gershwin Prize" to Paul Simon, The Glass version of "Sound of Silence" was performed on May 23, 2007, when the Library of Congress presented the first "Gershwin Prize" to Paul Simon.Recorded in France in 2014 with Nicholas Horvat on piano.
