Veterans of the NYC hardcore scene, Agnostic Front shocked the music scene with their 1983 EP "UNITED BLOOD" and 1984's "VICTIM IN PAIN" and have been the face of the scene for 30 years. They have played a major role in the formation and development of the NYC hardcore scene over the past 30 years, and have also had a major impact on the scene. They have released their 11th studio album! The album, entitled "THE AMERICAN DREAM DIED," may well be their most aggressive work to date. From crossover to proto-grindcore to oi-punk, this is the Agnostic Front of all eras that every Agnostic Front fan has been waiting for. Vocalist Roger Millett also emphasizes: "The band and I haven't felt this much confidence and enthusiasm for an album release in a long time.There is anger, outrage, and frankness here - all essential ingredients for a masterpiece! The recording sessions were intense and it all shows in the results! The band's aggressive drums, fire-breathing guitars, driving bass, and nonstop shouts - all of which played a major role in the birth of the "hardcore" genre by creating one of the most vicious sounds in punk - are still alive and well. Growing up on the rough streets, having friends murdered, and even having a band in crisis due to the arrest of one of their members, the Agnostic Front has had some real and hardcore experiences in their real lives that have been far from smooth sailing. While many hardcore and punk legends have been consigned to the pages of history as legends, the fact that they are still screaming on the scene in the 21st century is what is important.With THE AMERICAN DREAM DIED, produced by Freddy Cricien (MADBALL, etc.) and recorded at BUZZBOMB STUDIO with Paul Miner (H20, ATREYU, DEATH BY STEREO, etc.) With the slogan "Hardcore for Life," Agnostic Front proves that they can still cut into the scene with a razor-sharp edge.
