Beck, Bogert And Appice

Description:

The excitement and frenzy of a legendary live show by the legendary and most powerful rock trio in history will shake the world again after 50 years... The legendary and most powerful rock trio, Beck Bogart & Apis, who have carved a vivid presence in rock history despite their short activity period from 1972 to 1974. Apis. This 4-CD box set includes the classic live album "Live in Japan" from the 1973 Japan tour, which was only available in Japan at the time, and a previously unreleased live recording of the January 1974 Rainbow Theatre show. The legendary rock trio Beck, Bogart & Apis combined Jeff Beck with the amazing rhythm section of Tim Bogart and Carmine Apis, formerly of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus. Their brief two-year existence, from 1972 to 1974, has been etched in the annals of music history as a dazzling, fleeting brilliance and a trail that continues to illuminate the era. Before his death in January of this year, legendary guitarist Jeff Beck had been replaying live recordings made during his time with Beck, Bogart & Apis, the three-piece super band he formed in 1972 with drummer/singer Carmine Apis and bassist/singer Tim Bogart. The live recordings of two shows in Japan in 1973 and one of the band's last performances in London the following year, both rare live recordings, beautifully capture the fusion of energy emitted by these three short-lived but still hugely influential musicians. The band's last live performance in London the following year was a rare live sound recording. Now, Beck, Bogart & Apis are releasing a new box set, "Live in Japan 1973/Live in London 1974," which combines the live recordings of the Osaka show in 1973 and the London show in 1974. This work will be released in two formats: a 4-CD set and a 4-CD analog set.Live in Japan 1973/Live in London 1974" was produced by the three band members and dedicated to Jeff Beck, who passed away in 2023, and Tim Bogart, who passed away in 2021. The box set includes four discs of "Live in Japan 1973" and "Live in London 1974," as well as memorabilia, rare photos, and a lengthy liner notes by Bruce Pilato, music journalist and their manager, detailing the band's history. The set also includes a gorgeous booklet with memorabilia, rare photos, and lengthy liner notes by Bruce Pilato, music journalist and manager of the band, as well as a replica of the band's poster.
