Melodie Gardeau has made an astonishing comeback from a life-or-death accident, and since her debut in 2008, she has been number one on the charts in many countries, and even Billy Irish professes to be a fan. Her last album, "Sunset in the Blue," released in 2020, was a success with its gorgeous arrangements reminiscent of her debut and her collaboration with Sting. Melodie Gardeau's last album, "Sunset in the Blue," was released in 2020, and its gorgeous arrangements and collaboration with Sting were a resounding success. Her TV appearance with Sting in Japan was also a big hit. Although Melodie is a piano and guitar player, she concentrates on vocals in this album. This is an intimate duo work with pianist Philip Baden-Powell, the son of Baden-Powell, a guitarist/composer representing Brazilian music. This is the first time in his career that an album is an all-piano duo. The album features mainly new compositions, but also includes "The Irresistible One" sung by Pierre Baroux in the film "Man and Woman" and "Samba de Prelude," a famous song by Philippe's father Baden-Powell.Melody said, "If I had to describe this work in a few words, I would say that it is a dance between two people who have a deep love of poetry and a strong love of melody. The title "Entre eux Deux" means between two people, and I think it expresses the music well. It's a world where we delve deeply into each other's worlds, and I'm glad that the listener can feel that. I hope that the listeners can feel that. Philippe, who also partnered on the album, said, "This record is like the greatest gift a pianist or composer can dream of.
