The Rolling Stones gave a legendary performance at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on February 8, 2006, one of the biggest free concerts in history! Here is everything you need to know about this historic event that marked a defining moment in rock and roll history! Remixed, re-edited and remastered by The Rolling Stones and Mercury Studios for a complete 8-item release! The Rolling Stones and Mercury Studios have fully restored and remastered the video and audio. This is the first time the Copacabana concert has been fully recreated! The 2007 release of the album includes "Tumbling Dice," "Oh No, Not You Again," "This Place is Empty," and "Sympathy For The Devil," which were not included in the 2007 release. In the opening scene of the film, members of The Rolling Stones appear in front of an audience of 1.5 million people across a specially constructed bridge at the Copacabana Palace Hotel. The audience was immediately overwhelmed by the dynamic images, which included aerial shots and shots from boats anchored offshore. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts delivered one explosive performance after another, and the tropical dusk was colored by the frenzy of the audience and the Brazilian and British flags that fluttered across the beach. Four previously unreleased songs not included on the original 2007 DVD release, "Tumbling Dice," "Oh No, Not You Again," "This Place is Empty," and "Sympathy For The Devil," were also included. Sympathy For The Devil," which were not included in the original 2007 DVD release.In addition, the album includes songs that have been representative of their career, such as "It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)," "Brown Sugar," "Start Me Up," "Satisfaction," and "Wild Horses," as well as new songs from "Bigger Bang", "Rain Fall Down", "This Place Is Empty", "Rough Justice", and a cover of Ray Charles' "Night Time Is The Right Time". We've played many of the world's biggest venues, but that Rio was really awesome," said Keith. Mick added, "It was amazing. It was amazing," states Mick Jagger.
